Which file types work?+

Does it read the speaker notes in a PowerPoint?+
Yes. If the professor typed notes under the slides, they are used as the explanation for that slide, which usually produces far better notes than the bullets alone.
What about scanned PDFs?+
Not yet. If a PDF has no selectable text (it is images of pages), there is nothing to read. Export from the original deck, or run it through OCR first.
Will it make things up to fill in short slides?+
It is told not to. Where a slide is only a heading or a diagram caption, the note says what the slide covers in one line instead of inventing detail. Definitions, formulas and numbers are kept exactly as written.
Can I edit the result?+
It opens in the notes studio like any other note, so you can rewrite anything, and use the AI text actions (expand, simplify, define) on any sentence.
How long does it take?+
A 40-slide deck typically takes 20 to 40 seconds. Very long PDFs are trimmed to the first 80,000 characters, which is roughly 120 dense pages.
