Practice test generator that builds quizzes from your notes.

How it works

Three steps. Done in 60 seconds.

1

Pick a note (or notes)

Choose what to be tested on. Combine multiple notes for a comprehensive midterm-style review.

2

Customize question types

Pick number of questions, types (MCQ / T-F / short / essay), and difficulty (recall, application, or analysis level).

3

Take + AI grades

Question navigator, mark-for-review, retry-wrong workflows, feels like a real exam. AI grades short/essay with specific feedback per criterion.

Why it works

Built for actual studying, not just demos.

Realistic difficulty calibration

AI uses a difficulty ladder: recall → application → analysis. Mix matches how exams actually work, not just trivia.

Plausible MCQ distractors

Wrong answers are actually plausible: common misconceptions, partially-true claims, true-but-irrelevant. Not throwaway filler.

Answers shuffled defensively

Defensive Fisher-Yates shuffle on every MCQ so correct answers spread evenly across A/B/C/D. No more all-A quizzes.

Honest AI grading

Short answers get 0-10 scores with feedback on what you got right and what you missed. A 78 stays a 78: no inflation to make you feel good.

Mark for review + retry wrong

Mark uncertain questions during the test. After grading, retry only the ones you missed: focused remediation.

Premium quiz UX

Sticky timer header, lettered chip answers (A/B/C/D), question navigator, one-at-a-time or full-test mode.

Asking a friend to quiz youFriend doesn't show up. Or knows the same things you don't. Or doesn't grade strictly.

FAQ

Common questions

How does it grade written answers?+

Against a 0-10 rubric, looking for the specific points, the evidence behind them, and whether the answer is actually clear. You get told what was missing, which is the part that changes your next attempt.

Can I retry just the ones I got wrong?+

Hit Retry wrong after grading and you get a fresh test built only from those. That's far more useful than reading the whole thing again and feeling productive.

Is the grading honest or does it inflate?+

Honest, sometimes uncomfortably so. It's explicitly told not to inflate, a 73 stays a 73, and people regularly say it marks harder than their professor does. Better to find that out now.

How many questions per test?+

Anywhere from 5 to 50. It defaults to 20.

Can it match my professor's style?+

Upload a past paper as a format reference and it will follow that structure and difficulty. Worth doing if your course has a distinctive exam style.

Does it handle essay questions?+

Yes, marked out of 10 with feedback broken down by thesis, evidence and organization rather than one vague number.

What if I think a grade is wrong?+

Click Explain and it walks through its reasoning, which is usually where you find out whether it misread you or you actually missed the point. You can override the mark either way.
