Practice test generator that builds quizzes from your notes.

How it works

Three steps. Done in 60 seconds.

1

Pick a note (or notes)

Choose what to be tested on. Combine multiple notes for a comprehensive midterm-style review.

2

Customize question types

Pick number of questions, types (MCQ / T-F / short / essay), and difficulty (recall, application, or analysis level).

3

Take + AI grades

Question navigator, mark-for-review, retry-wrong workflows — feels like a real exam. AI grades short/essay with specific feedback per criterion.

Why it works

Built for actual studying, not just demos.

Realistic difficulty calibration

AI uses a difficulty ladder: recall → application → analysis. Mix matches how exams actually work, not just trivia.

Plausible MCQ distractors

Wrong answers are actually plausible — common misconceptions, partially-true claims, true-but-irrelevant. Not throwaway filler.

Answers shuffled defensively

Defensive Fisher-Yates shuffle on every MCQ so correct answers spread evenly across A/B/C/D. No more all-A quizzes.

Honest AI grading

Short answers get 0-10 scores with feedback on what you got right and what you missed. A 78 stays a 78 — no inflation to make you feel good.

Mark for review + retry wrong

Mark uncertain questions during the test. After grading, retry only the ones you missed — focused remediation.

Premium quiz UX

Sticky timer header, lettered chip answers (A/B/C/D), question navigator, one-at-a-time or full-test mode.

FAQ

Common questions

How does the AI grade essay responses?+

We use a calibrated 0-10 rubric — the AI looks for specific key points, supporting evidence, and clarity. It gives you specific feedback on what's missing, not just a score.

Can I retry only the questions I got wrong?+

Yes. After grading, click "Retry wrong" and you get a fresh test with just those questions. Forces real learning instead of just re-reading.

Is the grading actually honest, or does it inflate?+

Honest. We explicitly prompt the AI against grade inflation. A 73 stays a 73. Students often complain it's harsher than their actual professor — which is good for studying.

How many questions per test?+

You choose — 5 to 50. We default to 20.

Can I match my professor's question style?+

Yes. Upload a past exam (PDF or pasted) as a "format reference" and AI will mimic the style and complexity.

Does it support essay questions?+

Yes. Essay questions get graded on a 0-10 scale with criterion-level feedback (thesis, evidence, organization, etc).

What if I disagree with the AI's grade?+

Click "Explain" on any graded question and the AI walks through its reasoning. You can also override the grade manually.
